It seems to be a very nice product for brewing just a single cup coffee. It can be used when you are alone at home and want to enjoy the most special coffee made by you only….
We have just purchased the Keurig Platinum single serve coffee maker, not sure of the model number, and we absolutely love it! This is the third (and hopefully last) single serve coffeemaker we have bought. Previously bought the smaller Keurig Elite it may have been, that was ok and we used it a lot but it eventually leaked, then we bought the Nescafe Dolce Gusto – didn’t like that one at all, and limited choice of coffees for it. The main reason we bought the Platinum is that you can change the temperature and have your coffee, tea, hot cocoa or whatever your drink of choice is as hot as you want it! I always had to put my coffee in the microwave before after brewing it on those other coffee makers, with the Platinum it comes out steaming, great as I like my coffee hot. We also purchased the milk frother ($99) and now we make cappuccino just like Starbucks! It is really that good, didn’t like the packets of Starbucks cappuccino you can get – way too sweet. So I highly recommend purchasing the Keurig Platinum coffee maker, you won’t regret it, we certainly haven’t! Lots of choice too for coffees, teas, etc using the K cups.
Had this model. Four replacements crashed in months & were replaced by Keurig promptly( excellent customer service); the last served us well for 1+ yrs with descaling at 2-3 mo intervals. The threat to this system is the hard water..just bought a mini and love it! There customer service is the most responsive & knowledgeable I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!
